Another permanent magnet drive in the North
Just checking the names of the visitors of this weblog I found Northern Power Systems in Vermont, Barre, USA. It seems that this company is now part of Distributed Energy Systems. Checking their website I found another wind turbine with a permanent magnet drive generator; the NorthWind 100. A brochure is available as well as a Technology Generation brochure.
Have a look at Distributed Energy Systems' website (as I just did) and find out what they produce.
Looking for more information on the NorthWind 100 I found an article about it on the website of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in the section Honor & Awards. Not bad !

More clean energy in the North
Another interesting company in the North of Europe is Tussa Telit AS in Norway.
Thanks to the mountains and the water in Norway they can provide several forms of clean energy.
